The rankings just came out today and, according to both polls, Wake Forest is ranked the number one team in the nation for basketball! We are the only unbeaten basketball team right now, and I hope that remains true through this week, although we do have two tough games coming up - Virgina Tech and Duke. We're a passionate team, though, and with this little boost, I hope we can give them both a good fight.This is a great testament to the basketball program at Wake and the spirit of this young team. I've always been proud to be a Demon Deacon, but this week, I'm just glowing!

Congrats on your ranking; Skip Prosser would have been proud, especially since many "experts" predicted their program would never find success without another Chris Paul/Tim Duncan. I've got family in the town of Wake Forest and a little brother who plans on attending there in a year so I've been following them a lot more these days.
I noticed you've made several updates about the Deacons. We're looking for Wake Forest bloggers at www.collegefanz.com, the largest sports site on the net. We have a lot of activity, and a huge national audience, but no one keeping the fans updating about Wake Forest's perfect season. I think your entries would do well there; you're obviously supportive and that's the kind of thing we're looking for.
